…in a situation like this, a caring compassionate human would have responded with “Oh that’s ok Sir, we’ll waive it. We are looking to improve the user experience of our over complicated parking machines so welcome any feedback.”

But today, because a whole generation of jobsworths have been bread and brainwashed (I met a very young one the other day, not much different really than you would imagine a young German Nazi to be back in WW2, heartless and robotic), we nice people who are more human than machine are becoming a rarity and subservient to their demands. (I will explain the circumstances regarding the aforementioned youth another time. I do wish I had a dashcam at the time to record the whole event.)

I read somewhere that the powers that be are waiting for us more mature common sense types to literally die off, so we no longer hold influence.

Reap sow people. You want dystopia, you’ll get it. And people wonder why some Americans want to preserve the right to carry, despite the recent attrocities. And I don’t blame them. Liberty and humanity are worth fighting for.
