I am so glad that the UK has opened up and put an end to the madness. For all our flaws, we do our best to embrace freedom and take a common sense approach to things – something the Americans, for all their wonders, still cannot do. Actually you crazy lady, it is crazy unpleasant people who commit rape and other violence. I don’t think any of us bought up on such books and others being targeted by wokery were negatively influenced by what we read as kids. Further, as the failure of female police leaders here in the UK has proven, unless a forceful disciplinarian, women are less likely to save the day like the father figure in this book. And I would rather have a man fight off a dangerous animal because he is naturally stronger.

Yesterday I heard the media condemn trump for suggesting the US bomb their own air bases in Afghanistan. At the time, I had not read the fine print, so didn’t think anything of it. What he was in fact suggesting, was to do this after their bases had been abandoned to prevent American military hardware falling into the hands of a potential enemy. Something that has happened before. Very wise.
He also had a go at woke generals for turning the whole situation into what is known in the trade as a clusterf*ck. How right he is again.
It is frustrating when a person who is very smart and clued up is ignored for his flaws. I always loved the way Americans once took a glass half full attitude to any given situation, whilst the British always find fault first. Sadly, this is no longer the case over the Atlantic, and this does not bode well for the future of the country.

Just to clarify
I’m firmly anti masks, but pro vaccines, if it is proven by unbiased un-financially motivated politically neutral medical professionals that those offered a vaccine will benefit and it will help stop the spread of a proven harmful in the long run to healthy humans virus. I do not support the enforcement of vaccines for those who do not need them or to protect those who are responsible for their poor health. A few weeks ago, I saved a photograph of some school kids wearing masks. It was to accompany a post here, but something went wrong and I never got to finish the post. WordPress broke again I recall. Anyway, the photo illustrating this article in the Daily Telegraph is just as worrying. I really don’t need to say anything about the look of one or more of the people and just how cold, distant and empathy-less the subjects of the photo appear.
Why is this wokery happening?
Those of you who have been following the downfall of the West over the last 15-20 years will know it is all about Cultural Marxism. This is encouraged by our enemies (Russia & China?) to break us, and make us malleable. A very clever and insidious form of divide and conquer. China in particular has cleverly engineered a situation where it is ‘hateful’ to extract the wee wee out of the Chinese over Covid. Are the Chinese aware we would sing funny songs and tell jokes about the Germans and Irish (IRA related) back in the 70s and 80s? No one got harmed, it really was harmless. They were a recent or current enemy and the humor was justified. Damn, today, it’s racist to critique the Chinese for putting MSG in their cooking. This is proven to be harmful hence it was or still is banned in some countries whilst some UK and US Chinese restaurants offer a menu without MSG.
IngSoc/China are really using a huge net including BLM to capture anything politically incorrect, so as to really make it almost illegal to joke or criticize China and other threats to liberty.
Hope those who have been brainwashed by all this did spot the news story today about how Covid may have leaked from a Chinese scientist who had been experimenting with bats. The issue isn’t that he was experimenting, it was that China covered it all up and is still doing so, yet we’re pandering to their nonsense and threats.
They will OWN this planet and all it’s wokery soon if nothing is done.
BTW, as a lover of the Hong Kong Chinese, hope the wokery are as sad as I that the population are trying to leave to get away from repression. No, too busy fretting about vegan leather (made from oil based products you know, right?) and allowing your 4 year old to have a sex change.

Where’s the dad?
Being almost in the murderous path of the Hungerford tragedy gunman, and then distraught watching medics carry dead and injured children from Columbine live on TV, I think I speak from the heart when I say, this has f*ck all to do with gun law – if it wasn’t guns it would be knives, gas canisters or driving a car into people – and all to do with lack of a father at home. Do research most of the massacres world wide and there is in 90% of the cases, a young man living with his mother or without a father figure somewhere.
This is heartbreakingly tragic, yet we continue to embrace liberalism that is directly not indirectly responsible for this. So much related to my last post that was written before I knew who carried out the massacre in Plymouth.
RIP the victims.
What concerns me is that people seem to think that without guns these matters of character and family structure will go away. Yes, it’s unbelievable this young man was allowed a gun license, but that is an entirely separate issue.

…the concept that feminists reject, namely the Jewish and Islamic tradition of separating men from women at events or occasions or locations where one gender may engage with the other ‘inappropriately’. Yet here they are demanding safe spaces. Back in the day, women would seek out a handsome male and male would seek out a potential wife to marry (for her protection) and jointly bring up their children in a safe loving home. Not any more, society has been blown apart by contemporary liberalism that has destroyed the natural order of things. I wonder if these women, who I worry are in fact just attention seekers have anything to say about the goings on in Scotland, that for my part should lead to civil war to overturn this wokery before it is too late.
Further, (and I won’t defend genuine abuse of either gender), it is liberals that banned spanking of kids and encouraged an All Must Have Prizes attitude, so people no longer have any discipline.

A woman writes a book that contains her genuine infilters thoughts. And then wants to re-write it because it’s not PC. The issue with all this wokery is that we all read books or see films that include scenes that are uncomfortable, but are smart enough to know the difference between right and wrong.
I will never read a book or see a film that has been ‘edited’ to appease a reader or society. It won’t be genuine and be little different than some contemporary stand up comedians who are just not funny because their whole routine is scripted on an egg shell.

Climate repression
Just as Covid is being exploited by both sides of the ideological spectrum, (left using it to repress us through dystopian regulations, the right profiting from it through their connections with dodgy suppliers), out of control climate change is being used by the left to enforce change on people who actually want to change, but cannot afford it – yet.
History shows that the best way to guarantee technological progress is for governments to invest in University labs and start up companies, the latter then grow and once profitable ‘repay’ the state through taxes. And of course the public contribute too through sales tax on said innovator’s products. There is no better example of this than Tesla, who do not force their superb EVs onto their customers. In fact, they do not even advertise. Their vehicles sell through word of mouth only. The key issue is they received and continue to receive state aid, vital to cover the huge costs associated with investing in the machinery of mass production.
Likewise, solutions to the climate crisis will come from the private sector whilst attempts to tax and break the public will cause them to become disillusioned with the green lifestyle.
