When will you learn that nasty people get their way by being very very crafty and manipulate those with good intentions AND/OR people who secretly share the ideology or character flaws of the nasty people? My real world experience shows that most ‘activists’ are not so good at a stable career. Will never get over the day I sat next to a lady on a train who was wearing a badge that supported one of those ’causes’ that is trendy, but very toxic in its motives. We chatted about this and that, I avoided sharing my views in order to maintain an air of cordiality in the quiet carriage, but before departing, I asked “Out of interest, what do you do when not activating?” to which she replied, “As little as possible.” Enough said. (Yes, I have mentioned this before elsewhere within this blog.)
Fight back club: Sort your life out and focus on saving the world and seeking truth, not being duped by failures who make up for their inadequacies by hating AND/OR exploding on others.
Unless you’re well loaded, financially, things are starting to get very difficult for many people due to various factors.
This cyclical nature of the Western economy is, like the solar cycle of identical length, something we take for granted, but it needn’t be that way. Despite living in the ‘free’ West, most people are not really liberated. (This whole blog is all about such a state of affairs and is what motivates me in my work too.)
So, unless you are in absolute power, meaning you won’t have to concern yourself with such matters, I’m willing to bet your typical Brit is worrying about the following:
- Paying the mortgage
- Paying the car loan
- Paying the electricity bill
- Paying the council tax
- Paying the water bill
- Paying the food bill (How much?!)
- Paying for the kids toys
And so on, silently, like a slowly ticking time bomb.
Always hoping your ship will sail in tomorrow, such that the stress that tugs at your soul 24/7 will finally be lifted. The strain it puts on your personal relationship(s) all gone.
Sadly, things are not engineered to occur like that. There is no Hollywood ending in reality. (As per most British directed movies that tend to feature a more realistic 3rd act.)
The part solution to this is as I have been saying for 15 years or more and why a NASA image of the sun is my universal avatar, is for as many individuals and businesses as possible (Mrs May won’t have the government do it, she’s in bed with big carbon/nuclear) to fit as many solar panels as possible to their home or garage.
Instead of buying that 42″ LG 4K OLED TV, (next year?), buy two 150 watt solar panels (£300), a leisure battery or two (£85), two regulators (£60), and get your basic gadgets off grid 24/7. As solar panels come down in price, you’ll be able to add more, get some more batteries (maybe a Tesla Powerwall?) and then take some major white goods appliances off grid too. A solar powered fridge eh? The irony!
By doing this, you’ll spend a bit, but then reduce your power bill and even be able to feed back into the grid once your output exceeds your input. Either way, you’ll benefit the environment and be setup to survive a power cut when the End Of Days apocalypse comes to pass.
Light back club: Invest in this…
Dang, comments section closed seconds before I could post my view, so copied it to the clipboard…
“More lefty BS. Havn’t you lot realised you are not only morally wrong, but historically and biologically? Women do wonders, but are NOT male. Remember that video a few weeks back of two female police officers screaming and running away from a thug who was attacking someone? That is your useless precious gender equality for you. It is bad enough with women wanting to be fire fighters. I know who I want carrying my 150lb loved one down the ladder.
ELC, please don’t change your ways else you will lose my business.”
Now, how are the climate change and anti pollution protests going? Anyone?
The fascist cultural Marxist police state continues to twist the screws on our toxic University campuses. Hope enough students still with testicles will rebel and bake the useless precious snowflakes responsible for such rediculous goings on.
Meanwhile bees die, plastics pollute, fish stocks dwindle, climate changes, but all you idiots do is moan about self – leaving the planet to die a slow painful dystopian death.
Get over yourselves!
Just PLEASE hope this security guard is released and not charged.
A few years ago, I was witness to and photographed the daylight theft of three top of the line mobile phones from a Carphone Warehouse store just as I was leaving. I asked why the staff didn’t chase after the thieves (like I did, camera shooting away!) and why the store didn’t have CCTV, being it seems to be the in thing today for spying on more innocent people like motorists accidentally doing 36 in a 30 zone.
Answer, the staff are trained not to put their lives at risk, and the cameras cost more than the amount of merchandise stolen every year. I also wish to point out that it took the police a week to view my photos, despite my offer of handing them over there and then!
The mind boggles! If people think they can get away with crime, then they will try again! And in the aforementioned case, they did. The O2 store up the street was robbed the next week, by the same people!
Fight back club: Fight back! World’s male population is being turned into precious snowflakes, except this brave security guard. Hero!
I don’t publicise my blog, but I think it’s time to start to advertise it before it is to late.
Right, we now have a superb opportunity to use good old fashioned investigative journalism and contemporary social capitalism to test two news stories, one slightly more important than the other:
- Yesterday, there was an explosion at a nuclear plant operated by the French. They say there is no risk of nuclear contamination / leakage. We have heard that before, but currently no one outside the plant knows, so how about the operators invite the world’s media over for a looksi? If it is so safe, (and it may well be), then they will have no hesitation to allow people to enter the plant without any protective gear and unfettered access to all areas. Energy plants are part owned by and for the public, so unlike a corporate facility where IP will need to remain hidden, they should have nothing to hide.
- As is customary this time of year, the UK’s tabloid media are predicting an apocalyptic 4 INCHES of snow this weekend. My Lord, we’re all going to die! It’s a wrap. Up. They have been saying this for years now and been wrong on each count. This leads me to an idea (“Ding!”), a news service that pays compensation to their readers/subscribers for each story that is proven inaccurate. Maybe even offer rewards to journalists for accuracy of reporting? After all, if you visit a restaurant and the service is sup par, the manager will sometimes reduce the bill or offer a complimentary desert. On the other hand, if the service is outstanding, you’ll drop a fiver on the silver tray as you grab that enticing chocolate mint. Likewise, if your train is very late, you are now entitled to a full or partial refund from the operator.
Fight BS club: Prove it!
UPDATE 2: February 21 2017 – Uhm…
UPDATE: February 16 2017 – Well, not a peep about the reactor explosion in France since. So, the media are all laying into Trump, but not investigated an explosion at a nuclear plant FFS!*
And of course, approximately 10% of the UK was dusted in literally less than 0.5mm of ‘snow’ that melted quicker than a precious snowflake at an anti-Trump rally.
Fake news? More like, no news of importance!
*Fudge Fudge Sugar
Good to see someone calling it. Problem with the West is, because we are a free society, we are left to our own devices, and human nature (that started in the Garden of Eden), is to choose the sweeter more comfortable path, not necessarily the right path!
Whilst watching Total Recall (1990) and observing the intrusive, annoying security arrangements and masses of dysfunctional people, I thought how awful, unatural and sham liberated such a future was, and hoped it remained a fantasy, even if some scenes were a VR simulation.
Unfortunately, step by step, our real planet is turning into one huge open prison. Here in the UK, and now thanks to the mayor of New York (or it may be Boston?), parts of the US, there are intrusive cameras everywhere. They won’t stop anyone doing anything bad, those who do bad don’t care if they are recorded – it’s a badge of honour (or they have nothing to lose anyway), else the UK’s street urchins would not beat people up in clear view of CCTV cameras.
Similarly, our once open public landmarks (it started with the US Embassy prior to 9/11 after an early overseas attack) are now surrounded by large concrete or steel bollards or barriers. And today we learn that a glass wall is to be built around the Eiffel Tower.
How far will this go?
The thing is, it doesn’t have to happen at all. Thanks to liberals, (and I understand, Mr Soros), the authorities are going against the will of the majority and continuing to force us to allow in our enemies as part of a huge social engineering project that no one voted for.
Fight back club: Write to your MP? Organise a huge counter protest?
More selfish femminist bollocks.
And people wonder why Hillary lost?
Get over yourselves!
I wonder how many American babies will be treated in Iran?
These people are the masters of using their long suffering children as propaganda tools. Just disgusting.
A meme often associated with the forthcoming robot/AI apocalypse, but in this case, it refers to something I have been saying for years now to colleagues, in comments online and within this blog: That the most serious threat to social stability will be when basic essential foods (that does not refer to an overpriced ciabatta or flapjack in a coffee shop) cost more than a person or family earns and/or there are shortages of produce that are required for consumption fairly often for our good health.
Well it is happening.
The number one cause of this is climate change. The atmosphere is saturated, hence your car is all misted up inside every morning (and wasn’t in the 70s), it is raining a lot everywhere and the temperature is unstable. (-6 or 7 a few weeks ago, up to 12 the other night!)
Nature has evolved to cope with gradual changes, (slow reduction in volcanic emissions over the millennia for example), not the sudden impact of human activity.
Fish stocks are also being effected by algae blooms and our general population growth. If this all continues as quickly as it is, all other threats (that effect and kill very few people on the grand scale of things) will fade into obscurity.
Fight back club: Invest in solar, I am! Just purchased a regulator and we are researching large panels, leisure batteries and inverters, to get the house and office off the grid, bit by bit. Even if it’s too late, at least we’ll be able to listen to some CDs when Spotify stops working when the Internet shuts down. 😉
President T wants to revert back to the dirty energy of the past. Our job is to make such sources obsolete, so there is no market for them, the ONLY way to do this is for YOU to control where your energy is generated. It is no good buying an electric car if it is charged using coal generated electricity! That is just shoving the issue under the carpet.
‘Chlorine chicken’ could be added to UK menu after Brexit deal https://www.rt.com/viral/375985-chlorine-chicken-us-uk-trade/
I only got food poisoning from chicken in the USA, so beyond the nastiness of this, it is pointless. Our bodies immune systems will weaken if we are over protected. Plus, all this processing ruins the nutritional value, as per irradiated fruit.
FYI, I voted to remain!
Hope any liberals read this aforementioned article in full before expressing any further opinion on recent goings on in the US. So heart breaking.
